Do I need to know anything technical to use this?
No. The whole point of PluvoWeb is that we handle every technical piece, hosting, security, updates, integrations, performance, accessibility. You and your team only ever interact with a simple content editor for updating text and photos. If you can use a word processor, you can manage your PluvoWeb site.
What if I want to leave?
You take everything with you. On cancellation, we hand over your full source code, your database, your content, and a deployment guide. Your domain has always been registered in your name, never ours. Your site is built on standard HTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL, so any web developer can pick it up and continue. From there, your new developer takes over.
What if I change my mind? Can I get a refund?
Yes, in most scenarios. Every PluvoWeb subscription is backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee, and the window starts the day your site goes live (not the day you signed up). Cancel before we begin building: full refund of everything, including the setup fee. Cancel during the build: same, full refund of everything. Cancel within 30 days of launch: full refund of subscription fees (setup fee is retained since the site has been delivered). Cancel after 30 days: no subscription refund, but cancellation stops future renewals and your site stays available until the end of the period you have already paid for. Why so affordable compared to other agencies?
Three reasons. First, we use AI to accelerate the technical work so we ship faster. Second, we custom-code instead of using bloated plugin-based stacks, which means less ongoing maintenance overhead. Third, we bundle hosting + audit + remediation + maintenance into a predictable monthly fee, which removes the surprise-bill economics that most agencies depend on. We pass the savings on.
Can you build custom features that aren't on the menu?
Most things are doable. Client portals, member-only pages, custom integrations, complex booking flows, tell us during your free consultation and we'll scope and quote separately. If something isn't a good fit for us, we'll tell you honestly.
Is my subscription price locked, or can you raise it later?
Your monthly price is locked for the duration of your commitment. For annual customers, that's a full 12 months. For month-to-month customers, we will always give you at least 30 days' notice before any price change.
How fast do you respond to support tickets?
Starter: within 48 hours. Growth: within 24 hours. Pro: same business day. Enterprise: within 4 hours. Standard turnaround on edits and changes ranges from 5 business days (Starter) to same day (Enterprise) depending on tier.
What if I need more work in a busy month, like tax season or year-end?
Buy an overflow block: 10 hours for US$295 at Pro (US$395 at Growth, US$495 at Starter), or a single 30–60-minute task for US$59 at Starter. No commitment, no recurring fee. You only pay for what you use, when you need it.
What happens if Pluvo goes out of business?
Your site runs on standard HTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL, technology any web developer can pick up. If we ever ceased operations, you'd already have your domain registered in your name and we'd provide a final handover document with your server credentials and source code. Your data is never trapped.
Can I edit my own site, or do I have to email you for everything?
You can edit your own content, pages, blog posts, photos, copy, through your custom CMS. We handle anything structural: design changes, new features, integrations, bug fixes. Your edit-hour allowance is for that kind of work, not for fixing typos (you'll do those yourself in minutes).
Do you support e-commerce?
Yes, scaled to your tier. Growth includes Stripe payments, tax automation, and up to 5 products. Pro adds 50 products plus QuickBooks/Xero accounting integration. Enterprise adds marketplace sync (Amazon, eBay, Etsy) and custom integrations. Customers manage their product catalog in the e-commerce platform's admin; you don't need to learn code.
Is my data secure?
Your site runs on a dedicated Canadian VPS (Growth and Pro tiers), not shared with other customers. HTTPS by default. Backups are encrypted. We follow PIPEDA-aligned practices and limit access to your platform to the Pluvo team members working on your account.
How does bilingual (EN/FR) work?
Your site is published in two languages with a visible language switcher. We translate your static content (pages, navigation, forms) during setup. Ongoing translation help, for new pages or blog posts, is available as an add-on if you'd like us to handle it.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. Two options: pay month-to-month with a US$199 setup fee (which we credit back if you stay 12 months), or commit to one year for free setup. Either way the 30-day money-back guarantee covers your first month, if it's not what you expected, you walk away with everything refunded.
